- Abstract
- Clayton Mark commissioned artist Avid Nyholm (1866-1927) to paint this portrait that hung at the offices of Clayton Mark. A portrait of Daniel Burnham painted by Avid Nyholm is included in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as a portrait of Bertha Palmer (Clayton Mark's friend and neighbor) painted by Avid Nyholm's teacher Anders Zorn (1960-1920).
