- Abstract
- "This is a picture taken at the West End Club in Birmingham, Alabama in 1952. The show is a recorded broadcast over WEDR by Peggie [sic] Mitchell and with her at the mike is another dee-jay, Walter Anglin, who is still hale and hearty at age 86. He's got to be the oldest R&B dee-jay in the country. The other folks are our wives, girlfriends, husbands, and friends"--Castleberry's notes.
