- Description
- We continue to try to confirm the exact location, but as best as can be determined the "Beau Desert Camp" was located just to the west of Bordeaux, France in the areas of Beaudesert, and Merignac in the department (county) of Gironde. It should also be noted that within the Beau Desert Camp was located Base Hospital 22, and that Base Hospital 13 passed through this camp on its way back to the United States after the war.
