Provenance
One unidentified SMC MS, purchased through the Rosenbach company, is recorded as having been produced at Choristers of the Cathedral of Jaen in Southern Spain. This leaf is one of five held by Saint Mary's College possessing a Spanish origin.

A Cincinnati Post article published on January 26, 1933 suggests that this codex was donated to Xavier University by an alumnus. De Ricci's Census indicates that this codex was obtained in Paris by an alumnus of Xavier (unnamed) from an unknown source. This alumnus donated it to Xavier University around 1926.

A label attached to the verso of the leaf suggests that this fragment might have been produced for use in the cathedral of Seville. Donated to Xavier University by Stanley S. Slotkin, owner of Abbey Rents, likely in late 1955 or early 1956.

A pencil notation on the bottom outer corner of the recto leaf reads "41-2/31, SIBT, 700Pls, LAS DOS." Found in a music library office and moved into Special Collections in 2019. There is no record of when the item originally came to St. Olaf.

Donated in 1991 by Arthur E. Klauser who graduated from DePauw University in 1945.

Part of the John H. Haldeman Memorial Bible Collection. These items came to SBTS as part of the donation of the private collection of John H. Haldeman (1915-1990) and wife Virginia Bailey Haldeman made in December 1981.

The provenance of this cutting can be traced back to the late 1990s, when it was held by Bruce Ferrini (a manuscript dealer). It was bought by Charles Pucke from Ferrini in 1999, who then sold the cutting to The Printery (1717 Winesap Lane Kirkwood, Missouri 63122) in April of 2000. Purchased from the Printery by Illinois Wesleyan University on April 22, 2019. The history of this item before 1999 is unknown.
